(0404) The main post of the day is up at OoL plus Jstack, on “Fragmentation”. Having a short hiatus or kip now, back around 0830, dear reader, briefly, as I have a visitor after that. Fragmented this morning I’m afraid. (0548)

… unsourced, no idea where it’s from:
“The man who painted free plasticine slogans on the statue of Sir Winston Churchill has been found not guilty f criminal damage. Caspar San Giorgi, who is also known as Olax Outis, admitted painting the slogans but said that he doesn’t consider it to be damage. The jury acquitted him.”

a) Sky News reports that Burnham has cancelled the major investment summit due to take place in the capital on 1st December. Not enough interest?
b) The King’s Guard bearskin hats threatened by woke MPs’ modernisation push
A cross-party group of MPs is urging the British military to replace the King’s Guard’s traditional bearskin caps with fake fur alternatives on ethical grounds. {Made from oil?.]
c) European Commission president Ursula Von der Leyen has backed Canada’s accession to the EU as its first “associate member.”
Mark Carney has been posturing towards Europe amid a bad relationship with Trump’s White House. Seeing as there is no framework for an ‘associate’ membership it will have to be unanimously approved by all 27 member states…
Note…The EU-Canada trade deal is still waiting for ratification by ten EU member states ten years after it was signed.
d) BoJo Demonstrated either Lies or Stupidity
e) The UK. The state of modern policing.
1. From Lord Toby’s site today
Far be it from me to cast aspersions upon the honour of the daughter of the Prime Minister of Kurdistan, but she would appear to be a woman of distinctly easy virtue. According to the testimony of a Home Office whistleblower revealed in the Times this week, the number of Iraqi asylum seekers who have claimed that they have been in a relationship with this highly accommodating lady, thereby necessitating their being allowed to stay here in the UK to escape the jealous wrath of her possessive Islamic father, is “in the hundreds”.
Meanwhile, a similar number of Pakistanis have likewise claimed asylum here from their notably homophobic home-nation on the sole basis that they are in possession of an Official Letter of Gayness from the exact same easy-loving gentleman back home who claims to have slept with each and every one of them; isn’t that how AIDS got started? It may be simpler for the British state, all things considered, to just give this single highly promiscuous individual asylum here in Brighton, before he can seduce anyone else and leave them in need of an immediate free passport.
