Not generally being one into Old Testament curses and the like

… nevertheless, I awoke too early again, at 0153 and there was a verse from Deuteronomy:

Quite apart from it being in loud, shouty capitals, and not a long way from John Laurie’s, “We’re doomed, I tell ye … doomed!” … quite apart from that, it’s from a revised edition which I don’t trust, being a KJV adherent … so I had a look at the KJV and this is what it said:

[41] Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.
[42] All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.
[43] The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
[44] He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
[45] Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
[46] And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

That’s all rather cheerful, thinkest thou not, chaps and chapesses? And yet, in real time, seest thou not that that is what seems our fate? And blending in a bit of Yuri Bezmenov … or at least his ghost, the reason it came about was no accident … the Frankfurt School was hardly the first nor the last … we could easily go back to Weishaupt in 1776.

Going to repeat how the falling away took place in the modern era:

If that’s all a bit OTT, it reminds me of a time in Russia where I went off exploring or leaving my rails, the well worn and protected pathways, trying to cut through a shortcut, only to be accosted by a gang … can’t recall how I got out of that one but a client that afternoon who knew the ropes told me about the word “krisha” or “roof” or protection … that everyone, esp. foreigners, needed at least one “protector”.

I happened to have one, at govt level and my client said nah, way too high, never going to come to protect you from such lowlevel yobs (Russki equivalent) … you needed to say to them … and he outlined the standard call and response, which involved telling them to meet you right there next morning, say at 10 a.m. … and mind you do turn up, with your boys, your krisha. If you don’t, you’ll be watched and hunted thereafter … sounded very Westside Story to me.

Better to either be steeped in our ways from birth, he said, learn your lessons, learn the ropes as you grow up … which means you’d never take such stupid routes, such shortcuts through the urban jungle, unarmed, unprepared, unaware. Had it been today, it might have been the salutary warning of those two Norwegian girls alone in Morocco, led by the Frankfurt School sense of female omnipotence and being caught by all sorts of murderous, rapey sharks.

But a time is coming when the “guests” to your land are going to come out of the shadows, armed, like something out of a Charles Bronson movie and break into your own safe abode … because you never heeded the Greatest Krisha which Man can have and even more … a society based on civic rules, which themselves are based on Christian underpinnings almost all accepted back then as sane and necessary and which once formed The West. Or Christendom. Why do you think all those churches are burning now, why dwindling congregations having gone all inverted and rainbow sicko?

You may ignore this warning because of who it is giving it … or you can start to wise up, people.
