Seems your parents put you, or allowed you to be, in several high risk situations. If your memory was good and with hindsight you could probably think of many more that were a bit dodgy. I think they were planning something and betting on probabilities to avoid responsibility. Of course today your mum could have just strangled you, which they probably would have preferred to do, and claim post natal depression. Seems the thing now among crazy women.
