There are two main divisions in western society now … the Wokerati, loonies, many of them college age, under the control of “Them”, the term we use for globopsycho, e.g. Blair, Soros, the Leyen woman, plus a flood of alien warriors, plus antifa, BLM, all sorts of sexual crazies … we’re no fans of DEI or HR …
… and then there’s a second division we might call the sane, the trad, marriage, family and working life oriented, people just wanting to be left alone to get on with their lives unmolested, esp. by the state.
This complex of sites caters for the latter.
There’s a fanciful way we see ourselves … as landlord and patrons … idea being that at the end of this rocky promontory is a lighthouse but just around the point is a haven of buildings, with many roads leading here, set at the mouth of a river, itself with riverboats and shacks dotted along, the whole set in a harbour with jetty.
Nearer the lighthouse is the tavern … also across the carpark and stables is the chapel. I’m not sure about “landlord” myself as the character of this series of blogs is set by our “droppers” or writers in comments, very much so … I see myself more as chief cook and bottlewasher, just trying to keep the thing going, by the grace of God.

Back from the lighthouse and tavern proper is the river and track, dotted with unsociable curmudgeons in huts and on houseboats

As for “Unherdable Cats” … well we are just that … from so many political niceties, a big tent of those who do NOT want the current situation.
The various sites in the complex are listed in the top nav-bar and as you become familiar with how it works, you might notice, say, John Smith at 1241 … always a four digit number. That’s the post numbering system at NOWP, our second main site with the HQ signposting site here.
Is it a “club” with membership? Nah, nothing so formal. Just “good people of a similar mind, give or take, civilised people who’ve learnt their way around the place”. You’re welcome to join in.
Last thing for now … if you plan to comment … that’s well and good, but you must use a moniker, real or fanciful, consistently please … out of respect for other readers … not just Anon or Unknown.
