6. How’s your “calm space” doing just now?


As it’s Sunday, it’s time to mention the obstinacy of humans … they get a hegemony into their heads, a zeitgeist, and there’s no shifting it … Yuri B mentioned it. There is zero point trying to push or force it.

Already today, there was a person I know on X desperately hurt over injudicious comments, there’s another at the end of her tether … there are those of our chaps doing it hard too … then there is lil ole moi under intense pressure, like someone about to be hanged, and I can’t even talk it out with anyone close. So be it.

At the same time, I’m thinking this site and my rounds on X need to be kept going, calmly, though occasional blips in the calm do appear here and there. A friend said she doesn’t think I’m under pressure because I stay cheerful-ish, even joke-y. I’ve always done that under duress, par for the course.

Coming back to those people under personal duress, many I know especially resort to all sorts of non-helpers, non-comfort givers, from alcohol to demonic yoga to anything else going … relying, for example on X “friends”, when those people are themselves stressed out and fatigued.

So if I say there really is a source of comfort since about AD 30 or so … how many will switch off and rush away?

(0821) Morning all, 8/8 poisoned cloud cover. Though I’ve been up since 0530, that time was taken by domestic chores, hunting and gathering … and that first coffee and super-cookie.

Plus one more thing, apart from initial correspondence … on Tue, Thur, Sat, Sun, I post at OoL and Jstack … no big deal, except that GglBlgr don’t let me upload and Jstack prevents vid/sound media. Thus I need to first post here, then copy and paste at t’other places.

It occurred to this ageing, weary brain of mine, finally, that it was overkill to also run that post of the day at HQ … so I had to decide first what to put over there and load it from a backpage here. The PotDay is up now at those two places.

Thus I’m later to HQ and NOWP than usual … sorry me but it makes things clearer at this end to redact this way.

JH: The reason I’m disinclined to consign DAD and Steve to first post of the day is that it is usually lost in the queue, right down there at the foot of the day … better to use first post for the day’s n2 topic (the n1 topic being at OoL and Jstack). Obvious question, in the light of the protest suppression and the FEMA style camp prep (see OoL or Jstack) … obvious question is does the Danny Tommo method work?

I’d say initially but eventually, it is forced into a French Resistance WW2 style, highly dangerous for those loyal to the old Britain they once knew. Plus treachery everywhere, wormtongues. When I was in Russia, there were still vestiges of neighbour suspicion … who was going to denounce you?

This placed huge pressure on the necessity for the extended family to work well. Here in the west of course, the family is almost destroyed … just look at those Clancy clowns, the feminazi brainwashing of young females, the woke HR culture of older females, plus hoe culture, early. Lutnick personally emailed Epstein asking for GPS coordinates so his yacht captain could navigate to Little Saint James. Epstein’s staff scheduled lunch on ‘JE’s island’ for December 22 or 23, with Allison Lutnick copied on correspondence. At a Senate hearing in early 2026, Lutnick confirmed the visit under oath, stating it lasted “about an hour for lunch” and that he was accompanied by his wife, another couple, and their children. Epstein’s assistant confirmed the visit in records reviewed by investigators. A photograph showing Lutnick on the island was briefly removed from DOJ files before being restored.

JH: This is another example of not facing up to facts for many people. I fully accept it takes time, it needs sufficient corroborating or complementing data … but inevitably, one must face the reality. Same with Bannon. There were even photos of Roberts, Obama. Some are accepted more readily, e.g. Hanks, Oprah. Almost everyone has now accepted, in a different way, sbout Blair.

She went to a “nationalist” meeting as she called it and did not like what she heard. She is for one Nation there, which seems to me a bit like Marine Le Pen’s lot. My observation is that women are much softer in the evil they tolerate … and then we get Kobie or Marion Mariechal in France, plus quite a few here such as Katie who are much less tolerant if evil, such as killing one’s children … it overrides any issues the mother was having … doesn’t negate them, just occupies a higher place in the psyche.

But Alex used the word N*zi for these One Nation people she dislikes. She is for the party but not for what she sees as far right. She seems more Brit Reform than Brit Restore. Then she says she wants it back as it was in the 60s/70s. Well how on earth can she achieve that with all the invaders threatening the whole nation? The badly behaved places out there need banning, do they not?

What she didn’t like was that this meeting saw speeches like “Australia for Australians”.

And what?

So, despite all the keyboard rhetoric, she would not support the notion that certain ethnicities have shown themselves to be bad news, behaviour wise … but also the sheer legions of other ethnicities piling in now are a different kind of replacement problem. And then there’s medicine and certain conditions which are imported too.

And many women cannot bring themselves to face reality. Plus weak men. So what’s new? I did not see her as one of that latter lot.

My view on “compliments” is that they are only that if insincere or to gain something … otherwise, they’re just statements of fact. The cynical might see it as “charm assault”, yes … but if it’s something that comes into the head, then I say … say it. You mean it … so say it.

“When I was 20 years old, I married a 35 year-old man. The first 10 years were wonderful. Eventually, though, I suppose the novelty of my being a young woman wore off. Also, we had kids, and that drew some of the attention away from him. As far as I know, we were faithful to each other, but he just sort of lost interest, and I started chafing because he was acting like an old man at the age of 45. The marriage lasted total of 15 years, then we got divorced. The age difference, which hadn’t mattered much at all in the first 10 years, gradually became significant.

He had married someone who looked like a teenager and was beautiful. But, like all human beings, I aged. I did not get fat or anything and I was still pretty, I just wasn’t as young as I used to be.

As for him, he was sort of always an old man in a young man’s body. He looked older, but most importantly, he acted old. I’ve never been one to care about looks. In fact, I’ve only had one partner in my life that was actually good looking according to western standards. But this guy was only 45 and was acting geriatric. He was a fuddy duddy, didn’t like to go out or have any fun, was grumpy, he acted like a rest home candidate.

So in the end, the age difference did become significant. I don’t know if this will happen in every romance with a significant age gap, but I would urge caution. If you’re asking this question, it could be that you already have doubts. I would carefully consider your next move if I were you.”

Having been in the position of older plus younger at various times (my parents, at 8 years difference were perhaps the limit but there’s was also ethnic … Yorkshire as against Irish) … I’m no stranger to “hetero-ethnic” nor “hetero-age” but only twice “non-western”.

I’ve seen a photo of Marcia, who was on Quora and I’m wondering at hubby’s going off with a young filly (too many men’s folly, as is the cougar and toyboy syndrome). She was fairly straight afa I can see, maybe just as domestically conventional as he was but as she wished more and more for “fun”, excitement, maybe constant travel … well it’s a conjecture.

I do know, right now, a young lady ten years my junior who is into constant travel, almost maniacally so … oh, did I say “a”? I meant two … the first I’ve known since she was zero years old, the other was one year younger in our first summer teenage romance … and we’re still corresponding.

The first broke up with decades long hubby, precisely because he wanted rest, repose, near the end of a working life, which was diametrically opposite to what she wants.

Hmmmmm.
