a) France. Macron asks EU to relax energy and climate rules to ease soaring fuel prices.

The French president wants the European Commission to delay a law that would fine oil and gas companies which fail to report methane emissions.

b) France considers extending legal abortion deadline past 14 weeks.

France’s Health Ministry has proposed extending abortion limits beyond 14 weeks and eliminating conscience protections for healthcare workers who object to performing abortions.

c) UK. Labour loses control as undetected small boats reach Kent coast.

The Labour government faces criticism after a migrant boat carrying about 10 people landed undetected in Kent, with only five detained while others escaped.

d) UK. And the Lord might have said ‘Let there be a plague of bedbugs on the Guardian’. Well it seems that another plague has descended, not on the Egyptians this time but on the ‘journalists’ of the notoriously Israel hating Guardian newspaper.

Apparently according to GB news the Guardian building is infested by bedbugs.

2. There are not one but two long articles I’ve saved

… on children of school and college age today, their pig ignorance of any major field except snapchat, tiktok etc. There’s even a biblical reference somewhere to that time when information will be everywhere, at call … yet people will know nothing important.

Add to that behaviours such as sicko sex, sex instead of love, drugs, depression, violence, broken families, often with just single mothers who are wholly inadequate for boys after about 8, plus no good father figure for girls.

What must be the inevitable result, esp. if there is a mass invasion of alien hordes? Them have been goading, pushing for mass conflagration for decades, wanting mass slaughter any which way.

How possible? Alien cultures undercutting Christendom, even as lip service, appalling quality of teaching, of parenting, media, medicine, justice, plus an enemy govt committed to destroying the society. Plus the economy, people in penury or on benefits from those in penury.
