Today my revalidation period as a midwife comes to an end. After much thought I won’t be renewing my Midwifery registration.
2,298 days as a qualified midwife. Over 100 babies delivered. Hundreds of C-sections attended. Women held while they cried. Women supported to feed, stand, recover and eventually walk out of those doors with their new baby. That part I miss more than ever.
But after the defamation I have received, the vexatious referrals made against me by former colleagues, returning to the register is no longer something I feel safe to do. For two and a half years I have wrestled with this ending. I have questioned it, grieved it and prayed about where I go next. But nobody can take away the fact that I was a midwife or what those women, babies and 2,298 days taught me.
Maybe my place in maternity was never meant to end at the bedside. Maybe I was meant to take everything I experienced the good, the bad, the mistakes, the lessons and the things I can never unsee and use my voice differently. To speak about midwifery. To speak about maternity.
And most importantly, to keep listening to women, families and midwives. To speak of the failings. To start the conversation in the public domain to many who were in the dark.
Today something ends. But something else begins. In the words of Florence Nightingale: “I never lose an opportunity of urging a practical beginning, however small…” Perhaps today is my beginning. We, the inhabitants of England, united in defence of public interest and natural sovereignty, issue this formal notice of public outrage concerning the ongoing illegal harassment, damage, and harm inflicted on Victoria Rixon, a courageous whistleblower and retired midwife.
Her brave disclosures regarding grave regulatory and systemic failures within NHS Trusts, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and related corporate entities have been met with intensified intimidation, abuse, and unlawful corporate victimisation.

Victoria Rixon stands as a sovereign living woman and whistleblower, protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (PIDA), and natural common law principles.
She has exposed unlawful corporate conversions—where living natural persons are mistakenly or maliciously converted into quasi-corporate personas without consent—alongside serious safeguarding failures, patient care deficiencies and staff bullying.
