7. Of visitors, patrons, films and radio plays

There’s a page I rely on, in the engine room, which is All Comments. Frankly, my memory is shocking these days … just because I can string words together, does not mean I remember all I should. However, this comments page at HQ and at NOWP allows me not to miss too much, hence Fido corner appeared this morning.

I do see all the film ideas, inc. Andy’s Hornleigh … taken together, we have sufficient watching for this week at least and again, thanks to All Comments, I can scroll back to see what I’ve missed. Thanks to you patrons too.

What I’d ask you is that … say … after a week, if I’ve neither posted nor explained why best not to in this or that case … in other words, if I do seem to have missed your item … you will not be offending to remind me. There is so much incoming just now, plus increasingly govt imposed domestic strictures are starting to really impinge, Chez Higham.

Umbrage

Umbrage really is the killer of deep diving and while I’d agree it’s justified here and there, we should not lose sight of the mission at the same time. Plus we’re ageing, chaps and chapesses … we become blunt … add that to the very mindset Unherdables and other sites require … prickly, non-trusting, ever-verifying … the potential for miffs and rifts is high. I believe that the pressure we bring to bear, en masse, does eventually bear fruit, God willing.

I myself must be calmly ploughing on, otherwise I’m no use to anyone, too easily shifted, dust in the wind. But that creates an emotionless mindset, procedural … which militates against love and emotion … and I have to guard against becoming soul-less as a result. Nuff for now.
