Going of what goes on in this little northern town these very well dressed universally young formerly “arabic” and now”african visitors” play a good game.
They take a jolly in an escorted rubber dinghy to mid channel. Get brought into a UK port in a nice big water taxi. Go through asylum processing and get placed in a hotel, hmo, rental house with all bills covered by His Majesty’s Government, via Serco, and then waits for HMG to give them asylum otherwise known as leave to remain, residency or citizenship.
Once that has been achieved coaching from ngo’s and or charities (‘charitable’ ngo’s in reality) they apply for a family reunion and HMG very kindly flies the family over and HMG though its local councils provides the whole with accomodation and the charitable ngo’s ensure they get healthcare, education for the kiddywinkies, childcare for the under fives, and benefit payments with many also gaining residency or citizenship and thus the ability to work ‘legally’.
Their family structure is not nuclear as in mother, father and kids its multi generational and includes siblings and their offspring.
Demographic change is what is happening, at least in this little northern town.
