Right … last week, in the football, there were so many fouls on British players ignored by refs like they ignore Caitlin Clark’s injuries. So this week, Britain wants Spain to win.

I is back, so what were I be doing? Hither and thither says I. The three counties border is a special place. The wedding was a lovely affair. Lovely village, lovely people, lovely food. The following week in Wales was like taking a trip in the TARDIS. The topography meant no mobile phone coverage and the place had no internet either, though it did have a working red telephone box (K2). Sublime. The only tele I watched was England v. France last night. Couldn’t help noticing four-fifths of the players at kick-off were non-white.
