Cut me some slack here, chaps and chapesses … for a start, I prefer to see good reaction vids rather than just the track because I’ve heard the song a hundred times over … the thing is to see how late Millennials down to mid Zoomers like it or not, along with their … well … reaction comments.
Trouble with this song on YT is most chose a live, long version to do and it’s not as good as the studio version with lyrics. My first go-to reactors chose the live version:

One thing with many of the young folk doing reactions was they somehow thought they had to dress as hippies with headbands and bandanas for Hallowe’en. Er … why? What has the hippy era to do with Hallowe’en?
Right, so I had to preview many reactions until I found one with the lyrics. Problem with this one is the guy … he’s lacking in understanding, switches the music off at the wrong times and so on. She’s always been more appreciative.
No matter, let’s go:
Way, way back in the 1980s I worked a night shift. The radio would be on, during the evening the DJ ran a poll for the best opening lyrics. Werewolves of London eventually won. My suggestion was Don Van Vliet’s vocals on Frank Zappa’s Hot Rats, which I won’t quote here.
