5. This one you’d need to seek out on X

Significant to me is that Data Republican (small r) is being quite supportive of Natalie, which is nice to see. By the way, two making a reappearance on X are Charlie Ward and Bowtie Martin … though not very successfully.

“The antagonist, as Roger Scruton pointed out years ago before his untimely death in 2020, is common on the left because the left believes that it must deconstruct our civilization before it imposes a radically new order based on the fiction of equity — “fiction,” because in every socialist or communist society ever attempted, all power and wealth goes to a small number of rulers (e.g., the “Central Committee” of the Communist Party in whatever state you wish to name) and not to the people.”

3. Over at Lord Toby’s

Companies will be told to act like the “fun police” at work parties as Labour’s controversial ‘banter ban’ comes into force today. The Mail has the story.

“The human rights watchdog will publish guidance reminding businesses about their new “legal obligations” around work social events under Angela Rayner’s worker’s rights laws.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) warned that “risks can be higher” when staff socialise outside of working hours or where alcohol is consumed.

The watchdog said: “With workplaces across the UK holding Halloween events this week, the EHRC is also reminding employers to plan for risks linked to work-related social events.””

I’m going to swear now, so please cover your eyes … just who TF do these out of control clowns think they are !!
