In the documentary AM’s aim was to inform us that Americans are misinformed about some of our history due to a man who had been appointed to a key position and misused it or who took orders from on high. I am saying that, orders from on high.

His main focus is truth. Also fact that the man in question was appointed to a position in a big time museum of the America’s and he, according to A.M., wouldn’t allow for any disagreement with his findings or his proclamations. Therefore, false info has been passed down in educational information regarding who migrated from other countries and when…rather than the staid story about Christopher Columbus.

Everyone has his/her angle, take, direction he/she is coming from, along with sacred cows plus the anathema, together with being at different points along the road to understanding.

Therefore there will, by definition, be clashes … there must be … which need to be within a frame of chasing understanding overall, chasing truth. That’s a messy way of putting it but let’s just say we do not wish to start further subdividing into smaller and smaller, increasingly minor political camps here.

As it said in Dragnet: “Just the facts, ma’am.”

One movie scene which really got to me, with no kinks in the frame, was in The Day The World Stood Still, when the spaceman visited the professor and the professor’s attitude was perfect imho. He was perfectly happy to adjust his understanding, his conclusions, in the light of further data.

That’s the exact opposite of the highly placed academic in the 30s who pulled orthodoxy, pulled rank, to prevent truth getting out. I’m thinking Tesla earlier who had similar treatment meted out to him by the orthodoxy, those with a trough to protect.

Another question is how can an acknowledged ✝️ian in Arnold Murray, plus myself, possibly follow the methodology of the empiricist? The table in the middle of the room where we lay new facts?

The answer is that both seek truth and found some of it in scripture, uninterpreted by cults and priesthoods. Unmessed with. Tied in with that is the absence of coercion. Plus even an empiricist will, once it becomes quite obvious that something is so, by sheer weight of history and data, bring this or that point into his Canon.

Difference is that his Canon can be tweaked later, as a result of verified discovery, e.g. Iberian presence in America, pre-Columbus. Core Gospel he’ll keep in the Canon but other things such as the subject of this post can alter perceptions.

The n in the woodpile though is that so many late, “modern” revelations are so much bollox, designed to be flies in the ointment, designed to stymie truth … there are so many false prophets about. It would take the wisdom of someone wiser than Solomon.
