The necessity for accuracy whenever claiming to be “Christian”
What fun this is going to be.
Human versus inspired authorship
I start from the premise that there certainly exists something called “inspired” and Joan of Arc would agree.
But it is dangerously easy to slip into errors (rather than priesthood declaredand proscribed Error and Blasphemy). Just look at the clowns in Congress and Parliament, in thrall to moneyed outside interests and you’ll get an idea as to my estimation of Priesthoods, Leaderships.
Denominations arise from Priesthoods and in the history of Israel, it fell into errors, first of all in shifting from the written Torah to the oral Talmud to the Babylonian …even in earliest days, the Enemy was diluting, leading astray (e.g. Gnosticism), inserting entirely erroneous elements if you accept the earliest inspiration as holding water.
Scholars are well aware that oral traditions are very much at the mercy of the Priesthoods and you only need look at our “secular Priesthoods” to know how corrupt they are. Church of England?

Revisionism
Here’s an example:
The Book of Enoch was excluded from the mainstream biblical canon because scholars determined it lacked authentic prophetic authorship, was not recognized in the original Jewish scriptures, and contained speculative theology.
Specifically, the text was omitted for three major reasons:
Authorship and Date: Though attributed to the pre-flood patriarch Enoch, textual analysis shows it was compiled by multiple anonymous authors over centuries (circa 300 BC–100 BC).
Lack of Jewish Canonization: It was never included in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) or the Greek translation of the Old Testament (Septuagint) used during Jesus’ time.
Theological Inconsistencies: The book contains cosmology, angelology, and narratives that early church councils deemed contradictory to accepted scripture.
While the New Testament book of Jude quotes a passage from it, early church leaders concluded that quoting a specific verse did not validate the entire book as divinely inspired. However, the Book of Enoch remains fully canonical in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
All right … finding an acceptable version is the issue, one many scholars might agree on. There was Tyndale of course and no doubt those interested will mention their fave version but the one which has stood, either side of the pond, is KJV. Perhaps with a glance at Strong’s Concordance.
Yes, I’m well aware of the criticisms but it’s a sight better than, for example, the NIV which, by its very reducing of the crucial language to modern-speak, invalidates it imho. KJV is the go-to, within the context of earlier versions … which goes for prayers and creeds too, e.g. Apostles’ Creed versus, say, Roman Rite.
Plus we already know the Filioque clause which split the Church … but not the church of all who subscribe to John 3:16. And don’t forget Ephesians 5:3 to 12 and 6:10 to 16.
As I mentioned yesterday, I am very much from a scholastic rather than fervent, happy clapping or ritualistic approach. In fact I retreat from over-fervour, more in an old Anglican sense. Plus aspects of Churchery like the sun symbol surrounding the cross in RCism, Popery, that egregious receiving hall in the Vatican … incense swinging, worshipping Mary and yes … it very much is that, then icons too … beware, people, beware.
What was the second Commandment?

Consequences
The Crusaders sported red crosses on white tunics but in Constantinople, they were Merovingian heirs, the Franks, quite unChristian, yet their slaughter, e.g. in Jerusalem (ankle deep) was as bad as any pogrom you care to name (Darfur, October 6th in Modern Israel) … plus the influence of Khazars and Ashkenazis, who themselves have skewed Judaism and Zionism.

Minefield, eh? Particularly when correct theology insofaras it can be determined by oldest sources (not including “suddenly newly discovered”) is a crucial matter.
Fifth columnists and planted traitors
From earliest days to Farage and Shapiro, Massie, Rand Paul … who exactly are the fifth columnists, according to the creed and nationality we subscribe to? You to yours, me to mine. Mine is the Cross of St George plus Triune God in KJV terms.
Scholastically, one really does need to delve into antecedents, e.g. someone writing G-d or Yahweh, though I AM seems to be generally accepted by most across the faith. Someone almost never quoting NT but steeped in OT … not conclusive in itself but with certain aspects, e.g. the militaristic, emphasised over the “gospel of peace”.
A scholar really needs to know the antecedents of the person pronouncing on it. But we know that at Unherdables … it’s our bread and butter to be quite careful, cautious.
Let’s come back to Enoch and angelology as I’ll call it. There’s an immediate conundrum … Matthew 22:30. If there is no person to person marriage in Heaven, then how did Enoch’s fallen angels, the nephilim, mate with human females?
Because that might explain why Gates, Soros etc. are never bumped off. They can’t be, they’re only part human. Which in turn explains the paedo sicko behaviour of the “upper class” scumbags.
However, as IYE might or might not suggest … what if it’s nowt to do with that and in fact we might look more at Icke’s suggestions. Now IYE, I did write “might or might not”. Please clarify. 😎
D*m*nology
Toodles pointed out, quite rightly, that nowhere in the KJV does it mention d*m*ns. Yet I have been using the term often, plus I labelled someone damian long ago. What does the KJV call them? “Evil spirits” or “devils”. Interesting eh?
Any conclusions?
We are caught in a bind, knowing what to trust, whom to trust … we must know the person’s antecedents because there are infiltrating fifth columnists all over the place. False prophets perhaps. Locusts?
We need to have our scripture at least agreed. No point KJV favourers trying to argue with Modern Revisionists, e.g. about Ephesians 6:12. And as for the vast pseudo-rationalist “community” … where’s the basis for even beginning discussions?
