For a start, he’s not a rabbi, he says so in the profile, also that it’s parody. Dale I did not check out. Then Katie Britt … the words she used can be seen onscreen. Where’s the “much worse” if you find it and watch? However, should she have mentioned it at all? That’s another question.

8.Scaremongering.
The first one is cochineal which has been in use for a long time.
Cochineal is a red dyestuff obtained from the dried, pulverized bodies of certain female scale insects.
The second is shellac which is used to give a glaze to a lot of conectionery and is secreted by the female lac beetle. And again has been in food use for a long time.
So yes insect sourced but not crucially not insect protein.
18 not 8. Obviously.
Yes, scare porn. Cochineal has been used for thousands of years. Shellac since mid 18c. That doesn’t mean they won’t want to replace meat and natural foods with insects as the main ingredient.
With processed foods who knows whats really in them?
Who knows what reactions there are between the ingredients?
I wonder how many people realise a lot of food contains nicotine which was rebranded for marketing purposes, for example.
Eat when hungry, drink when thirsty, sleep when tired. Life is pretty easy when you accept these three. All things in moderation is another little nugget. Common sense gets pushed aside all too easily these days, mores the pity.
