This newer arrangement of a short early and movie later, afap on each day, is not hard to do just now. I told AKH Dragnet each day but immediately saw two other shorts which look most interesting … one below. Shall keep exploring these but also drop in some Dragnets along the way. In the “short slot”, we’ll eventually get back to the Peter Gunns or start blending them in. Anyway, that’s the current cunning plan.
I wondered where I’d heard that accent, Tom Conway who plays Mark Saber was the brother of George Sanders. Similar looks too. Interesting family.
I don’t know this series, but it seems to be just as watchable as Gunn. Not as hard-nosed as Gunn perhaps, but this episode managed to squeeze in a mystery with a sting in the tail which is good going. Enjoyed it.
