6. How’s your “calm space” doing just now?

As it’s Sunday, it’s time to mention the obstinacy of humans … they get a hegemony into their heads, a zeitgeist, and there’s no shifting it … Yuri B mentioned it. There is zero point trying to push or force it.

Already today, there was a person I know on X desperately hurt over injudicious comments, there’s another at the end of her tether … there are those of our chaps doing it hard too … then there is lil ole moi under intense pressure, like someone about to be hanged, and I can’t even talk it out with anyone close. So be it.

At the same time, I’m thinking this site and my rounds on X need to be kept going, calmly, though occasional blips in the calm do appear here and there. A friend said she doesn’t think I’m under pressure because I stay cheerful-ish, even joke-y. I’ve always done that under duress, par for the course.

Coming back to those people under personal duress, many I know especially resort to all sorts of non-helpers, non-comfort givers, from alcohol to demonic yoga to anything else going … relying, for example on X “friends”, when those people are themselves stressed out and fatigued.

So if I say there really is a source of comfort since about AD 30 or so … how many will switch off and rush away?
