The great nothingness

Going to combine two things in this opener after three sleeps … first is what YT have just done or whoever the scriptkiddies are.

As you could guess, reader/watcher … the “YT recommended front page” is ordinarily a good guide, a good vault to dip into for posts, which have slowly been honed over months, videos which might interest you.

Suddenly, some toerag has wiped them all and instead has flooded the page with sheer shlock, running to hundreds of videos. Not only that but in the worst YT style from the last few years … gauche, sensationalist and even vile images, MSM style text in loud lettering … “n5 will shock you most” … on topics I’d never be interested in in my worst nightmares.

Suddenly … that’s the overriding word here. I had to waste half an hour just now blocking, removing and even then, there’s very little of interest to us, judging by your visits here. So the question is … what toerag or jerk did this and why?

Which brings me onto generations and before I even start, you know where this would be headed. In fact, one of the younger set I’ll quote below … you know of her, I’ve also said a few times I think she’s maybe the prettiest pundit in Britain.

“Dont want IT there.” It. The word was “it”. Think what indoctrination has been done on these young women but also think of the almost complete capture of men by porn these days. And my next question is … who are the people in charge of porn empires? Think of their demographic in most cases.

Thinking back to those hundred or so videos on youtube I just blocked … yes, it was the gauchery for sure, low moral compass .. but it was something else as well … low aesthetic sense, leaving morality aside for now. On X, there are constant comparisons in architecture and elegance being made by many accounts, there is Moo corner here … again you get the general idea.

Within that argument is the ornate versus the minimalist. I’m not one way or the other, as long as minimalist does not become brutalist and ornate does not become rococo. It’s not unlike a man wearing a tweed jacket with striped shirt and polkadot tie … I’ve seen that in London a bit.

I mean … shirley there’s some middle ground, n’est-ce-pas?
