… I was never really enamoured of Patrick Malahide’s Alleyn in the visual play … just thought the whispering voice a tad annoying … but there we are. I suspect I have this new condition called Asparagus Syndrome, in which the victim suffers from a total inability to shut the gob, especially if something’s simply crying out to be said. 😎
