Cuds and I were invited to a game in July. I said no way! July was too hot and horrid this year to go.
I love him, between you and I he’s a bit like me. I don’t get to choose which game to watch over here, we get what we get but I have been following the results. My other team is the Brewers and they’re going well too. Maybe they’ll meet in the post season.

I don’t want to be the one refusing to put down the receiver but to continue, we don’t get the Braves on telly hardly at all except on rare occasions. If we pay for their channel we could watch them whenever they play. With all the advertising and then also paying for the special channel, because Them mandate from on high, we don’t do it on principal. Instead, Cuds mostly listens and he just loves to tell me all about it! I say, You Go Braves!😉🙌🙌🙌 It so pleases him 🤭😀.
Those Brewers have the best record in all baseball major league. You are correct; both teams may just meet in the playoffs!

Oh thank you. All of my old school reports mentioned that I was the class clown, unlike Daffy it was intentional.
Last night we were supposed to have the Braves at NYY, instead we were presented with a Miami game. Was the game rained off? We weren’t even fold why the change was made. Soo disappointed. As they’re doing so well it won’t be long before another one comes along so I’ll have to be patient. The football (soccer) season starts in a few days, the bowls season will soon be winding up and my stove needs a good sweep. That means winter hibernation is just around the corner.

I have been having a very pleasant but busy weekend. Otherwise I would have reported sooner. Chaos had tried to rule over my summer but thankfully there was a slight break from the tsunami! A bit of fun was appreciated
Finally to the Braves:
Disappointing. My Friday evening it looked as though they might pull out a win against those Damned ole Yankees. (That sailor blushing language is understood by our Maker concerning our competition! 😉)
What happened was our team was ahead 2 – 0 in the 9th inning. The relief pitcher came in and caused drama. He never, ever just comes in and does the job. He has drama whether they win or lose.
So…he let the Yanks score and they went to the tenth inning. Well if you know anything about the Yanks then you know if there is the slightest crack in the door they are there waiting to snatch their share and everyone else’s! I suppose that is why they are called the Yanks!
Good for them because they won that game 3 – 2. If those dumb ole Braves won’t learn from their mistakes…their incessant mistakes against the Yankees then too bad Braves.
Last night, Saturday, those ole Braves lost to their worthy opponents 5 – 4.

This afternoon noon, probably now, Cuds may be listening while he is puttering. They might accidentally win. However I am dubious. They seem to get all bent out of shape against that team.
I hope they won’t let the NYC team sweep the series. We shall see.
Your Brewers won their game Friday. That is the extent of what I know but they seem to be a consistent team.
By now you may already know of the results and in case you do, you know again!

Thanks for the updates Toodles. I have been keeping up with results when I can, mostly by watching the highlights show every evening. My bowls club won our division of the league this evening, on to the area finals followed by county final if we win. Our modest successes this year has enticed a few great players from other clubs, they’ll be with us next season. I expect to be dropped from most of the squads, I’m fine with that.

It appears that under your tutelage and strong leadership your bowls club has done well! Maybe too well for your liking. I imagine after a while of so much competing for titles some of the original fun of the sport might become dulled.
