Three brothers, including a former Labour candidate, have been sentenced for their roles in a grooming gang that exploited vulnerable young girls in Sheffield. Amar Ilyas, who was previously a youth worker, received a 27-year prison sentence for multiple sexual offences, including rape. His brothers, Kamran and Kamar, were sentenced to three and ten years, respectively, for their involvement in the abuse.
