17. How did he do in this interview?

16. Just when you thought it was safe to come out again

“A Man in 40s has been Seriously Injured after a Machete Attack in Winton at about 1.44am today; an hour later, an 18yr Teenager was Stabbed to death in Poole; Both Stabbings are in Dorset.”

Anyone we know from Dorset?

13. Then there’s the cheating and carelessness

… by vote counters, Labour et al … that explains the supposed landslide.

11. When resort islands destroy themselves

Tenerife

We went there in the early 2000s, rented an open top car, it broke down … Peugeot I think. Garage came to collect, I went with them … one of the core wires in the engine had parted. Repaired, vroom vroom. Good trip, no angry locals, no chavs or chads. Curious reading about all this above.

Friday radio play

… with Crawford and Gerda. I do enjoy this pair better, except that they must keep Crawford Logan as infuriating in his smug arrogance as was the Peter Coke character. With Marjory, it was sometimes half necessary but Gerda is far softer and he then sounds a bit off.

Someone in comments asked why such surprise when Sir Graham rocks on round … after all, he practically lives there … drinking their liquor. Not that I’m against that … Sir Graham can work his way through the drinks cabinet afa I’m concerned.

Friday [6 to 10]

(1359) Afternoon all. Time again. Where’s the morning gone? (1416)

6. The foreigner and the crocodiles

“On Thursday afternoon, 18 June 2026, at the Johnsons of Old Hurst family farm and zoo in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. A three-year-old boy was visiting the zoo when a 30-year-old man, who was a complete stranger to the child, allegedly hoisted the toddler over a four-foot fence and threw him approximately 15 to 20 feet down into a raised crocodile enclosure. The zoo owner’s wife, Tracey Johnson, heroically jumped into the enclosure alongside other staff members to rescue the boy. The toddler survived but sustained severe injuries from the fall and potential animal contact, leaving him in critical but stable condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

The 30-year-old “animal”, who travelled to the zoo from Norfolk, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Local media reports indicate that the suspect has severe learning difficulties and had been visiting the zoo with a carer, though the carer was not directly next to him at the exact moment of the incident. Following his arrest, Cambridgeshire Police explicitly stated that medical professionals assessed the suspect and deemed him “not fit for interview”. As a result, he has been released on bail until 18 September 2026 while police continue gathering evidence and speaking with eyewitnesses.”

Yes of course … isolated nutter. Sentencing will be simple … drop him to the crocodiles.

Friday [1 to 5]

(0903) Greetings, patrons and friends (those still here). Well you can see the time I dropped off and just now am restarting … that’s one heck of a sleep in my terms. Makerfield review? Soon. Have not looked at any news since the wee hours (aptly named with my new condition). You ok there? Fetid, humid air around our way. Airing the abode floods it with more grunge, a bit like (… no, best not put an analogy from the western situation). (1117)

Ta for best wishes, DAD.

a) In 2025, internal security forces recorded 36,900 traffic stop offences, including 28,200 cases of refusing to comply with police orders. This number increased by 9% in one year, primarily due to a rise in refusals to comply with police orders (+10%), particularly in their aggravated form (+16%).

b) On Thursday, June 11th, the European Central Bank announced an increasein its three policy-setting interest rates:

c) Spain wants same immigration policy as Vatican, says Vox leader Abascal after pope’s latest call for open borders.

d) I am not sure if I have run this before.

1. Right, I suppose I must write sommit on’t

Hold on while I check out incoming and X. The enemy Spectator:

“The Mayor of Greater Manchester managed to comfortably beat even the most optimistic of polls by winning an impressive 24,937 votes, more than 20 points higher than Reform’s Robert Kenyon 15,696 (34.5 per cent).

In a distant third came Restore Britain’s Rebecca Shepherd who took 3,111 votes (6.8 per cent), enough to keep her deposit. In an impassioned address, Burnham suggested tonight ‘could be the turning point’ for the country and the ‘final chance to change’ for the Labour party.”

🍿🍿🍿🍿

Yep, completely F’ed over Reform brass, the corrupt, snooty, Uniparty bunch. Burnham? They want him pushing Starmer out. Red rosette thickos though, of low IQ, cannot of course see that Burnham is much worse, which will precipitate us non communists into finally allying, maybe physically next time.

Maybe it was all part of the Grand Plan from Above. Either way, the fabian communist hegemony in Britain must stop, one way or the other.

First step … Farage and all the creepy politburo must be sent to Elba … no bleedin’ way is he British opposition, nor his £19m owners. He’s an establishment plant. End of.

Interim Makerfield report

(0211) This is no more than what it says. I awoke at the end of a Paul Temple episode for a change (don’t ask) and it’s not concluded, nor is it shaping up definitely for anyone. Here are some things we could glean.

  • The very latest was Rupert in the polling room finally being interviewed by Laura Lousy. Big smile, Rupert but not that of a victor … mentioned 46% not voting, so same old same old which put Starmer in.
  • Labour saying there is some positivity they’ll take it.
  • Which of course leaves Reform, no reports on X. Beeb says counting continues at Makerfield.

From what I can gather, those faux polls put out by Uniparty were not hugely out, a report that it’s too close to call between Labour and Reform but that’s Beeb/Estab talking. Almost no one talking Restore win, which means nothing that … “almost no one is talking” is not exactly conclusive. There was one claim of 65% turnout.

Restore canvassers were reporting back about Reform intending voters saying they were going Reform this time, Restore in 2029. There was fairly universal acceptance that Restore is on the map now. Percentage … 7%? 20? No one is calling that at 0237. I’m for bed. (0237)

A different Laura … Laura Lovely:

Late … Burnham takes it.
