All right … there’s the issue itself … and then there’s this “age restricted” on X … wot, I’m restricted from seeing prongraphic naughty scenes of a reflecting pool? Is this a sane decision by someone at X?

Early morn (6 a.m. or thereabouts) it was already 27C. Now 32C and rising. Expected to be 37C still at sunset tonight. Urgh! 🧊🧊🧊
Up early, things to do before midday (sensible me). It nudged 27°C here in Poole yesterday. There’s a moderate breeze going on just now so I’m using it to cool the house down. Thoughts of 10 years ago today when a mate sent a text message in the early hours saying we were out of the EU. Looking back he was only half right on that one. Keep cool, drink plenty 🙂
Silly me, it was in the wee hours tomorrow, 10 years-ago that the result came in. Like a lot of people I’d gone to bed when it looked like we’d lost to Remain – Farage threw the towel in – went to a nightclub, apparently. Brexit became obvious after 2am.
+30°C at 06h. Worked in the garden until 08h30. All shutters closed and curtains drawn. Hankering down;seaste in the afternoon
5. Of course! Corruption is rewarded on this planet.
Much thunder during the night here in leafy Herts, large hailstones threatening to smash my skylights. A massive amount of rain also fell during the storm which lasted for over an hour. Woke late morning to a bright sunny day. Opened email to see that Thursday’s bowls match is cancelled due to hot weather forecast. Most of the players have done national service, parading and yomping in all weathers, and now spend money to travel to hotter climes for holidays. It seems that the scare the dim people tactic is working just fine.
……
JH: A few people reported on X that down south they’d had not only rain but sudden downpour, plus hail. Goodness.
