At 9:00 mins exactly, the young Scot says praying “to” … but straight afterwards says praying “for” … an entirely different concept, tradition. Yes, I pray “for” my ancestors, for all those who fell in our wars, even at Trafalgar … but never, ever “to”.

Which is precisely why graven images, statues etc. placed conspicuously in and around churches, to my mind are not on. Romanists say no no, we’re praying for, not to Mother Mary. Really? Shan’t continue to srgue this with RC people. Reason is they also recognise the Triune God, so I leave that to the Good Lord if He wants to deal with it.
