218 votes. Now look, good people, despite appearances, I’m not a dyed-in-the-wool Reform Party person, not being a party person … yet They do appear to be the only ones with a genuine policy platform, with thought out policies.

Yet even Restore has a central issue it has not resolved … civnat versus ethnat. Lucy White is clearly ethnat, while a friend of mine is the other end of the spectrum, both implacable. Lucy says where you’re born is not the point … it’s of what stock you are, what tribal group, what ancestry, heritage.

Therefore, Obama’s mother rushing to Hawaii to have the baby, according to Lucy, is at best half-Americam at best. Anchor babe Bad Enough of Ghana/Nigeria/wherever is not British, wherever ger birth was. Yet Spike Milligan was certainly British …

… unless of course he rejected everything about Britain, like Lawrence of Arabia and the entire left. His previous generations were all from here, yet he felt no affinity with the culture and underpinnings.

In short, it’s messy. Accent comes into it as well. What of Tony Greig? The other extreme to ethnat is as fraught with illogic … it’s pure anchor baby. As long as you can get the mother inside the borders, that foreign kid is suddenly oure British.

Then we get to the “other culture” folk who came in legitimately, went through the hoops, are more British perhaps than the British. And what of expats? What, for that matter, about blacks born and bred here but their behaviour betrays other origins and loyalties?

And back to 218 votes. Forget “divisive”, I’m more interested in “destructive” as the core factor in someone staying here. And how to get people voting for a genuine member of the nation? They come of age, having been woke-brainwashed or apolitical … yet they have the vote.

These are the people putting Labour back in, with predictable consequences.
