I find it difficult to believe that so many candidates stood for this election knowing, or accepting, that they would lose their deposit. Are these people so wealthy they can cope with this or, with my conspiracy theory in play, were they paid, and expenses covered, by others in the hope that any votes for them would reduce those for Farage, allowing Binface to win, making Farage a laughing stock and ending his political ambitions? Perhaps one day we may know.
