2. Though it’s summarised at OoL and Jstack

… some more details gathered last evening and this morning on the mise à jour (Fauci in this one):

1. DAD at 1454

a) Manchester Mayoral Elections. Final result declared after first and second-preference votes counted (JH: It’s not clickbait, I assure you … it’s utter disdain for the Labour cow and the process).

b) Not Just an Invasion—but Surrender. The mass crossings at Ceuta and Melilla expose the consequences of a political class that has traded border security for ideological commitments.

c) As in the rest of Europe, cultural enrichment has brought to Austria a new surplus of various forms of crime, especially the violent kind. And the response of the state broadcaster? To ignore the statistics, and pretend they don’t exist…. (JH: followed by sheer poetry).

d) German chancellor Friedrich Merz is facing growing pressure from within his own Christian Democratic Union (CDU) after a government reshuffle triggered fresh criticism of his leadership, while new polling suggests the right-wing Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) has widened its national lead.

e) Green Hydrogen is a dirty word and no one wants to go to the Fiji Climate Conference. More signs that the climate change movement is on the way out.
