1. Welcome obligations

Putting something out there, plus positive responses to that, have always been the language of socmed … call and response … call it what you want … just being acknowledged is part of it. Plus plenty of sleep and liquid. Plus any Xian can tell you that that support “platform” helps immensely, but with all this come obligations.

In the past two days, El**s platform, whatever you think of him personally, has become a haven, shelter from the storm, for so many people being hit, discarded, forgotten. Particularly nice have been the named abused starting to show some confidence. Make no mistake … this is a major advance, planned by Rest*** and other women’s groups, largely anti-feminist, plus the US heavy hitters in a massive way, which is drawing in Europe and the antipodes.

Just this morning though, on X, many chaps and chapesses were in a good mood at the response, organisers like Orla and Sammy are delighted and as a consequence are hitting back hard at the trolls and hit-thugs. Some of those abused were effusive. Good stuff. Let it continue.
