Millions? Might be a tad overzealous. There are the routes in which they did not shut down and that may have swelled to many hundred thousand, but then all the others who came into town but did not reach the centre, just as happened last year. The estimate which seemed correct last year was a bit over 3m all up perhaps, counting everyone coming into the area, from train stations etc.
I’d guess over the million this time, who knows how many more? Don’t forget that signals have been jammed inside the area by tech plod, letter agency, whatever … that was reported earlier. Therefore, we’re not getting a lot on X just now.
One excrescence we did see was a flatbed driving all the way into the UTK people, with vid billboard each side proclaiming how wonderful immigration is. Provocative, wot?
