I keep getting told that lekky is the killer … and well it may be soon, esp. with egregious heat pumps … but for me, it’s as nothing to gas and water, each of which set me back around £65-70 a month … lekky costs me around £35. Food and liquid is around £180.

  1. 13. Slightly off topic, I understand that Simple Simon Minibrain’s plan is to have complete net zero by 2050. That will mean that, taking the expected lifespan of every wind turbine currently working, estimated at 20 years from installation, they will all have had to be replaced long before 2050. Considering that these turbine blades are made from a non-recyclable material, if they can’t be replaced onto the new turbines, what are the numpties in power planning on doing with thousands of objects longer than the wingspan of an Airbus 380, never mind where are they going to get the billions of Pounds for the infrastructure of rebuilding them? Perhaps someone should ask Minibrain this question, not that he will care, as he will be long gone by that time. What a legacy he will leave, the biggest landfill site in the world.
