Also on the networking theme … with mainly ladies and some chaps reporting from different parts of the west, it can take us out of home territory for some time each day … which is why I’d largely missed the Epsom story:

9. Moo corner

She only just started posting just before this post … I was out of Moos.

Someone commented on Moo’s pics not always being sharp and light … for me, it’s what she writes, the sometimes quaint manner, more than the pic itself. Sometimes it’s the pic.

8. Was contemplating whether to mention this or not

… as it’s personal … there are many agendas online and in my X profile, I write not to DM me (direct message) unless already a friend. This was summed up some time ago by Elon:

X, to me, is a networking site … our chaps make much of the running, e.g. Sadbutmadlad, the chapesses see things and go off exploring, then reporting, many gals are good sleuths … along the way, we not only make friends but miss it when someone hasn’t checked in for awhile, Dearieme at HQ. I do not use DM for contacts … always en pleine on the timeline:

It’s kept at a certain “cocktail party” or out for a walk level, unless someone has trouble, e.g. Deryl’s hubby’s heart attack, in which case, many of us will kick in with support … same goes at HQ here … I’m not sure why it’s all important but it is … wondering if Andy’s ok at this point.
