Monday [6 to 10]

10. For those of a certain age and homeland

9. Moo corner

8. No Kings again

7. Faith in the medical industry

6. The second and more final “day the music died”

We know about the Buddy Holly crash in Feb, 59 and Don McLean’s song of 1971. Yes, that was the death of innocence, but not of creativity, clever playing and untainted singing.

The second and more permanent death though was in 1997. As many Gen Zee (1997 to 2014) reactors admit … music after the mid 90s became total autotuned drivel, adenoidal, soulless and untalented, just as with film … satanic and dripping with Woke. Sad Gen Zee and Alpha.

  1. 10. F Troop was one of the best satirical tv series of the day. Compulsive viewing in the tv room during my military service. Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker (till then, a serious actor in Westerns), and Jamie Farr, (who went on to play Cpl Klinger in “MASH”) were the main characters I seem to recall. There was a rumour that the Indian tribe was initially going to be called the Fekawi, though that may be an urban myth. Not certain if the young Mel Brooks was involved in the writing, though may have given him the ideas for his films. They don’t make ’em like that, these days.

  2. 😹😹😹😹😹. I loved F Troop! Cuddles and I as well as many our age have referenced it growing up. I was just a kitty at the time, but didn’t miss it. Meowbahahahahaha!

  3. American comedy was certainly better in the 60’s. I wasn’t even in my teens in that decade but still I got most of it. My dad loved Hogan’s Heroes, especially Sergeant Shultz – who knew nothing. My sister was a Bewitched fan and being a good bit older she got the adult jokes they slipped in now and again. Brings back happy childhood memories of a family, huddled round a box in the corner of the living room 🙂
