Sunday topic

It was interesting to me that youtube presented this to watch, let alone the lady agreeing that it was a wonder that her book was even written, let alone published. There was mention of the Screwtape Letters, also another woman’s book which remained feminist, i.e. North American woman. One commenter listed the topics as the long podcast went on.

Cunning plan is to run this now, at 1311 our time, with a Saint episode going up about 1430, probably two jazz tracks around 1600, then the last politics around 1700.

This was the layout:

She makes mention a few times about it being fictionalised reality … things she or friends went through, presumably also she knew of others going through. And yes, that was precisely what Masquerade, my long book, was about. It started with straight diary notes but because it was in the first person, obviously that skewed the tale … so I went third person but the danger was a Mary-Sue or the male equivalent.

Thus I was understanding her drift there. I plan to listen as audio this evening.

Sunday [9 to 13]

(1015) The morn marches on. (1034)

13. Some sort of op ed

… with a bit of Housekeeping thrown in. It’s not my intention to reiterate ad nauseam, to teach our readers to suck eggs … yet one or two additions might be of use.

My approach was originally to become furious at glitches and blockages, then it became to just find inventive ways around them … but in the light of post June 24 developments, it’s moved on. First is MMUTR who’s taught me to be organised … write everything on paper which can be stored and then accessed. In this is an admission techies won’t openly make … that IT is far from a precise science, as the number of things in the chain which can go wrong … usually do.

The experienced cyberman, I’ve observed, just tries some other way … if still stymied, he refreshes … if still stymied, he goes away, comes back later.

IYE taught me archiving, Steve and DAD taught me routines as most useful, Andy taught me humour through it all. Our other chaps and chapesses have taught me much too. When something is inaccessible and called inc*tm*nt to h*tr*d, say, I’m learning to just go with that flow, rather than fight it. There’s a time to fight but there’s also a time to pause … we may just have dodged a bullet by so doing … by not clicking.

Telling someone with some Irish blood to be dispassionate is a dark joke in itself … and yet it’s good advice … there’s one particular glitch in my NHS course app … yet postings by my colleagues are still showing up in ticker. I wrote to app support … who knows what they’re up to … nay going t’fash m’sel’ o’er it, though I can see something nastier behind why I cannot but others in the group can.

That’s where anxiety and imaginings hover, ready to descend … not going to … just going to get onto other things, see what’s happening elsewhere. Here endeth the rant.

9. Kathy’s newsletter today

This was the week Keir Starmer welcomed the fall of Syria’s Assad dictatorship. Now I am no expert but I don’t think I would have been quite so quick to herald it as a good thing, not with this character Muhammed Al Jawlani as de facto leader after his jihadist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham led the toppling of Assad. Yep, this is a group that’s committed mass human atrocities and was co-founded by the former leader of ISIS as the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda.Nice one.

But maybe Sir Keir has represented them in the past – as he once represented the now proscribed terrorist group Hizb ut-Tahrir? Only asking. In these globalist uniparty days with Boris Johnson singing from the same Syrian hymn sheet you haveto wonder what’s going on.

Sunday [5 to 8]

(0752). The bleah out there slowly dawns. Gab offline at 0901. (0902)

8. Jim Ferguson on X

””The Hammer of Truth is Coming” — Andrew Bridgen Exposes the Globalist Agenda In an electrifying conversation, former UK MP Andrew Bridgen delivers an unflinching exposé of the globalist agenda and a rallying cry for truth and accountability.”

7. From TDS today

”Rather than facing the facts, Ed Miliband has this week tripled-down on what everyone else can now see are terrible mistakes in energy policy more than two decades in the making.”

The big question is how on earth to stop the insane clown?

6. The politics of envy again (called out on X just now)

“Private school children in Surrey forced out by Labour’s VAT raid may be left without a school place after the council admitted it had run out of space.” Completely predictable. Completely unforgivable from this Labour govt.”

The word “private” is much loved by the state sector, as if it’s equivalent to “rich, wealthy”. The green ooze of envy sludges in all directions … I can tell you from a lifetime in the “independent” sector that the majority are small schools making ends meet in an effort to give parents choice. My primary schooling was state by the way and I later taught state for awhile … also for awhile working in the civil service.

5. At NOWP, at the top of the sidebar at the time of writing this

… is this by DAD, our elder statesman at Unherdables: “One can’t trust Mother Nature to help when one makes stupid decisions.”

Well yes … there it is. Yuri B added that by the time demoralisation of a society is complete, no one has the ability any more to make rational decisions to save humanity, society first.

To refine this … the young never could until they’d been well brought up, well educated … but both are missing across the west now and so little monsters are proliferating, from the brat in the supermarket (often single mother) to this silly, sad girl Lily who had 100 men in the day, saying she’s looking for love.

As for invisible “white” men … it’s a sad story too. Where are the people of experience in the society, the firm hands on the tiller? Unemployed by decree, forced into early retirement, killed off by rogue doctors and nurses … killing off a viable society’s last chances of being turned around.

Sunday [1 to 4]

(0634) Morning all, even if still dark. (0749)

4. There was an Elon quote

… which unfortunately I deleted a week or two back, in the usual mass deletions, to the effect that in the midst of all the horrors, to keep perspective and calm mind … redolent of the WW2 posters here to stay calm and carry on.

It’s a double-edged sword because Them are asking you to accept privation upon privation they keep piling upon you and to stay cheerful. Uh huh. Second word is “off” and the moment there’s the chance, the miscreants are gone.

On the other hand, it’s good general advice because of that thing called one’s mental health … these Fs, to revert to swearing for a moment … have the common people at their mercy … the last crims on earth who should be in charge of anything whatever …

… but we know that. Keep cash in a box? Uh huh. One violent storm and we’re all goners? Uh huh. Warning … religious plug coming up now from me, readers, click out while you can.

Comfort

There is very much a course open to every individual, I’ve dropped firm hints for a few years now … to my mind, it’s the only sanity preserver possible, other than having a naturally stoic disposition, which I do not have, I become anxious if I fail to make moves not to be anxious … and there was a Man, soon to be on a cross, who told his followers that he would send the Comforter … I can vouch for the efficacy of that, so can thousands over the two millennia … but it only works if you straighten up and fly right.

That is … as long as we get our own house in order, then his side of the contract is also honoured.

lllegitimi non carborundum

There’s a certain amount of “Illegitimi non carborundum” in this as well, which translates thus:

Illegitimi non carborundum is a mock-Latin aphorism, often translated as: “Don’t let the bastards grind you down”. The phrase itself has no meaning in Latin and can only be mock-translated. (Wiki)

It’s a conscious decision to avail yourself of the means … far better than a bottle or substances which wear off and rob you of the ability to fight. In very dark times, you’ll see many reverting to calls on an Almighty they scoff at in good times … pity it is seen only as a last resort but there ya go.

Vigilance

The n1 error, if the human mind retreats into a fantasy world of deluded hope in false solutions … just look at the climatemongers for a start just now … is the loss of a sense of reality, of awareness of real things … such as what the bstds are trying to do with their psy ops upon us … planned for many decades, designed to be rolled out in the new 20s and beyond. Hell, they even have Agendas called by years … 21, 30, 35 etc.

By all means have your head in the clouds, as long as you still have your feet firmly on the ground. This very site is going through some glitches this morning, as is WP, as is my provider … all sorts of gremlins are inserted to derail us, to separate us from our reason.

The dark joke is that the very people speaking of tinfoilhats, poking fun at pundits such as me, such as us, are not laughing so much anymore now as insane policy after insane policy is enacted by people who are simply loonies, crims, evil muvvers of low moral compass.

And we tinfoilhatters? We carry on, shaking the head sadly.

Haven’t these people heard about crime8 change? One violent storm on this plant and there will be no more plants for generations (multiple puns intended).

a) One can’t trust Mother Nature to help when one makes stupid decisions. Electricity prices have been spiking across Europe, with Germany seeing a record high of €936 per megawatt hour, reports Bild.

b) Dutch Banks will advise people to keep cash at home because of the tense international situation, a spokesperson of the Dutch Banking Association (NVB) has said.

c) Around 5 p.m., a man then spontaneously presented himself to the Ghyvelde [NE France] brigade, claiming to be the perpetrator of this homicide in Wormhout and the four other murders. In Loon-Plage, near Dunkirk, the individual explained that he had shot two former colleagues and two migrants nearby.….

d) Giorgia Meloni’s government has conferred Italian citizenship on Javier Milei in a sign of the growing rapport between the two “hard-Right” [sic] leaders.

(JH: I’m afraid, DAD, that I inserted the “” in that item.)

e) USPS Chief Louis DeJoy covers his ears during congressional hearing. Lack of respect shown to American taxpayers.
