A sense of mission

We’re faced with overwhelming odds because in playing the Eloi in our hiding from reality, we give the miscreants carte blanche to keep turning the ratchet on us.

Already this morning, I saw the move in some primary/nursery/elementary school somewhere to start this “sexual touching” c**p between chn in school … that is exactly the c**p Bertelsmann and globopsycho tried through leafletting in Germany around 2007/8. There used to be a blogger, Prodicus, who stumbled upon it.

What stopped it in Germany was the backlash of essential decency. The creeps above interpreted that pushback as “the people were not yet ready”. I interpret it as the last vestiges of our western cultural heritage still being present within us, still being referred to. Still some sort of sensibility remaining.

Look at what they’re hellbent on doing, the creeps above … not only snuffing out those precepts but replacing them with hellish killer cults and/or eastern or egyptian mysticism. Plus don’t forget who killed Jesus.

The power of the west has always been in its Christian roots because it’s not only in those that the west survives but there’s also a bit of Help available and I point to two scenes, one real, one semi-fictional. The real was Joan of Arc who most certainly availed herself of that Help to achieve an initial goal, then lost her way in her human ego.

The other was the Blues Brothers. It was a great plot point to see these two wastrels on a mission from God and there were two missions, no? One was to put the band back together but there was another mission before that, for that Sister Whatever … and they ended up succeeding in both missions. Fiction? Or allegory?

The sub-theme was that He up there seems to have a sense of humour, or at least of irony … as He seems to choose the most unlikely ones to carry the mission forward. Look at David in the bible.

So I wrote a letter to a close friend this morning and am reprinting it below, minus its first rule, its first step:

“It’s one thing believing that is so, it’s another being on one’s own and being forced to do this.  And then watching things fall into place for the good.  I’ve seen it happen over and over.

N2 was put by Torquaymada last night:

“I predict massive pushback. Starmer has become such a proven liar that anything he promotes will meet more than equal resistance. The most untrustworthy Politician in my lifetime. He’s batting for another side…and it ain’t the UK.”

Same with the Demrats and RINOs.

The overwhelming thing is that there are ways around things, as on a football field … but we can’t find them ourselves, being too overwhelmed by the mass of what’s facing us. Being mortal, crammed with human weaknesses, prone to despair and anger in turn.

N3 is balance, routine, calm.  There are various nutrients we need every week, we must have them. Fad diets are not great with age … we really do need enough, otherwise we’re always sleeping … to the end.  Brain fog.

N4 … keep physically moving.  Use it or we lose it.  If we don’t wish to, we only have to remember our mission.  What will be will be … comes back to rule 1 above which I did not openly state.”

I did not write a N5 but maybe it’s to be proactive rather than hiding away, hoping the crocodile will eat us last. Look at those girls, strutting around like feminists, with ideology having removed their main protection. Or normies getting their values from tele … from CNN, the BBC etc. etc. LBC in London.

Also, it’s one thing having a mission, boldly going forth etc. … it’s another being foolhardy, doing ineffective things.

A practical example … let’s say you’re of an age where you have a walking stick. You’re attacked. Do you swing the stick? No, no, no … perfect way to be blocked, plus to lose the stick. There are two key moves … use the stick horizontally, in two hands, to block … but then to use the ends in a quite different way. The end is your friend, not the middle. It carries the defence a metre from you, before his knife gets to you. That’s just one defensive move.

But even behind that is the mindset … wary, calm, ready … every second you are out. Proactive, organised, prepared … not like a sitting duck. Not blindly believing you are protected, esp. if you’ve rejected any Help.

Let’s look at the worst case scenario … the creep just shuts down anything and anyone he considers “iffy”, using these Net Tsarinas … so, let’s say … on Friday it all stops. There are two issues for me … obviously the blog but more for me, it’s farflung friends, e.g. in America, Russia, Greece, via email. I’d consult with MMutR, natch. More tomorrow.

16. A bit of nostalgia for me

I know this fence … and no, that’s not how I entered the US. That fence extension is quite a ways off the shoreline. If you follow it up to the right on the (far) US side, it becomes more substantial, then solid, then comes a carpark where I’d parked, the customs building straddles the fence. I can understand the Mexicans not bothering but you’d think the Americans would have their side covered.

Then I remembered that the US side is California.

The Monthly Film Bulletin wrote:

“Though basically routine in plot and substance, this lively crime thriller has the particular advantage of a freshly observed hero in Caesar Smith, convincingly played by Denis Shaw as a heavily built but agile Scotland Yard man with a dexterous line in judo.”

In running this film, which is all right to a point, I do need to have a moan about 60s films/movies. The caveat is that we’re talking youtube films/movies, which are but a fraction of the whole, plus we have different tastes, do we not, plus changing tastes with age.

What I clearly remember about the 70s was that the violence was now in slow motion for sickheads, whereas in the 60s, it was just violence, in the 50s it was suggesting it, in the 40s it was more cleverly treated. As time went on, films became more gauche, lacking in finesse.

The 80s were bland in every way imho … in either music or film … it was the greed decade, the yuppies … and everything was brown. In architecture, red brick had given way to unnatural light brown, actors were in brown, film titles became more rounded, more Helvetica.

During the 90s, I was away from home, probably thank goodness.
