MIGRANTS REBUILD CAMP ON CEUTA BEACH DAYS AFTER CLEARANCE Days after Spanish authorities tried to clear Ceuta’s Trampolín beach, moving migrants to specialist centres and temporary camps, the settlement is back. 

Footage shows men rebuilding makeshift huts across the sand, hauling in branches, cardboard and sheeting to throw up new shelters, right in the middle of the beach. As the clip’s narrator puts it, instead of numbers dropping, they’re gathering materials to build even more.

This is the reality behind Madrid’s “we’re handling it.” Clear the beach, and within days it’s rebuilt, hut by hut. A tiny enclave overwhelmed, its authorities going in circles, while the government insists everything is under control. It plainly isn’t. Credit: @Visegrad24
