17. Nice tribute from one who knows – Karoline will be sorely missed not standing behind that lectern. She had the measure of them and didn’t flinch once. Her job was pulling her away from two very young children, probably 12 hours or more a day, plus trips abroad. She could come back in a couple of years, or more likely move up and stand for office herself. First female president? I wouldn’t bet against it.
