BB (before Burnham) there were 401 other Labour MPs eligible to be elected PM which indicates either none of them wanted the poisoned chalice or more likely none of them could count on the support of any of the others because none of them have a clue. There’s also the possibility that no one was willing to be Millipede’s puppet. Burnham must be OK with that position.
