Isilme corner

Lady Isilme and Lord Beloved have been hard at it running their shop, plus visiting the extended family, with Isilme somehow catching up with some craft.

Along the way, they had to negotiate this crazed ticket buying biz which, incidentally, is why I do not travel … no way DidgeID for me, no way. Part of her travelling tale included:

“I received an email telling me Beloved had bought me a railcard. All I had to do was download the app to my phone and put in the code from the email. So I did that. And it refused to accept the code because it was “invalid”.

Well, okay. I tried several times, but no luck. There was a paragraph on what to do if your code wasn’t working. You could request a new code. So I did that.

I received an email with the ‘new’ code. Great . . . it was the exact same code as the old one. I tried it anyway. No, it was still invalid.

Finally, Beloved tried downloading it onto his phone. It worked. With the supposedly invalid code.”

Reminds me of the meme James Melville posted, via Lord T:

… though of course, Isime is decades younger. Same principle. No way, Jose.
