Another fabulous day here on the south coast, gentle breeze kissing 28°C. Over the Channel the French are packing the beaches so the starting point for the Scumbag Invasion has been moved to Dieppe, roughly 100 miles due west of Dunkirk. Needless to say the going is slow – so much so the French Navy can’t do the usual handover to UK Border Force. A few litres of petrol powering an overloaded rubber dinghy will leave it adrift somewhere. Hopefully in French waters 🙂
