Order for me is 2,3,1. No.1 not quite up to the other two, but I’ve been sitting here for hours by the window, occasionally looking out at a uniformly foul day so all three have ensured Sunday jazz is a particularly welcome interlude. It always is of course.
#1, not much impressed. The only chap I’ve heard of is Edmund Hall who went on to have a successful career.
#2: liked it though the rhythm section could have been livelier.
#3: good stuff: Bix, Tram, Rollini, and Eddie Lang. Some band.
