21. Mothering Sunday or Mothers’ Day tomorrow – one of my earliest memories is from Sunday School – I was knee-high to a grasshopper – and we littluns were tasked with making ‘something for Mother’. Can’t remember what I made but I did win a raffle prize: a plastic perpetual calendar. My mum put it on the mantle piece and it stayed there through all the years of my childhood 🙂
