Watched a bit of footy on C4 last night. This commercial popped up, time was about 19.45. | https://youtu.be/3fRQOmn7qjg?si=K-g2QX5m_6xwrecZ | I shouted loud enough at the TV to scare the horses.
This headline caught my eye, it got me quite excited until I realised they it was nothing to do with recent legislation. | https://www.kentonline.co.uk/canterbury/news/dead-babies-display-shocks-shoppers-in-kent-high-street-325901/

Apparently, Devon and Cornwall Police’s plan to hold a summer retro rock festival had to be cancelled as they couldn’t agree whether to put Cream or The Jam on first.
Very droll. You know I was in a tea room in Woolacombe once and my squeeze at the time ordered cream teas for two. Being Dutch she had no clue there was a custom regarding scones. So she cuts her two in half and at that point I told her in Devon the clotted cream goes on first, then the jam. She frowned and said she will do it jam first. I told her that was the Cornish way. I kid you not she said: “Where’s Cornish?”. She then put jam on two halves and clotted cream on two halves. She blurted “Cream jam, jam cream” and put them together that way, giggling. I said “ok, you win” and she shot back with “Cream cream, jam jam” so with both hands I lifted the teapot and milk jug and said “Do you want milk first or tea first, in your cup?”. Happy days š
