(0731) Morning all. If you glance at the end of the last post (0316) and the start of this one, that’s a neat second sleep, aiming for about seven hours over the twenty-four hours. So quota is up, boy is refreshed.
This continues in item 6. By the way, UK temps are due to steadily rise after today. (0927)

a) Suspected of having ignored warnings of physical and sexual assaults at Notre-Dame de Bétharram, a private school in Béarn, François Bayrou met with victims’ representatives on Saturday, February 15. He “was not aware”…..
b) Macron is pushing for Referendum—but not on Immigration. The French are to vote on three subjects, but not the one that matters most to them…..
c) Nadège Lefèbvre (LR) received a delegation of elected officials from the municipality and representatives of the opposition group on Monday evening. “To make people believe that we are going to place delinquents in Maignelay-Montigny is completely false,” she repeated.…..
6. Kathy’s Klown
That could well be me as I’m about to embark on some severe abridging of her entire TCW newsletter below and by the way, don’t read too much into the Klown bit … have you not heard of the Code of Chivalry? You know … Klown on Blogback in Shining Armour dontchaknow?
Do you believe in God? Well the topic has relevance to Kathy’s Missive today and I’m seriously not kidding as I write this but I was not quick enough to screenshoot the ticker notification at the top of the screen but as I wrote “Kathy’s Missive”, at that very second appeared in ticker “TCW Kathy Gyngell” … I B-S you not … yikes!
One of our Kast of Kharakters at Unherdables is IYE and he might ask, in reaction to that … coinkidink? One wonders. The alternative is that some intelligence causes certain things to happen in a certain way … after all, to everything there is a season and it’s Donald J Trump’s right now … a window.
Last evening, preparing materal for today, I saw one of those Drumpf articles which went on about Edomites … uh huh … was that meant to be significant in some way or just the rantings of the demonrat party across the pond? Idea was the Donald is actually Esau returned … you can look that one up if interested. One name cropped up and I’ve kept coming back to it myself … Barron.
Let’s get to Kathy and as mentioned, I’m abridging this now so it doesn’t go on forever:
”I HAVE BEEN left pondering this week about the point of TCW, and indeed the purpose of the criticism and dissent which we publish – that is, apart from it giving us all a chance to ‘vent off’.”
At that point, the local rag online arrived and this:

Hmmmmm … MMutR and I were discussing a similar scenario of late, how one would react. Also, Toodles has gone ‘absent WITH official leave’, ditto with Isilme. Hmmmmm, back to Kathy:
”My musings were prompted by two article submissions, both fluent and well-argued, one of which I decided to publish and one I didn’t. The one I ‘spiked’ was an attack on Donald Trump, not from the Left but the sceptical Right, for his failure to follow up the vast network of USAID fraud and corruption with arrests. Trump’s first time in office in mind, the writer posited that without this, the swamp would stay. He had a point, but surely it was premature and unduly negative?”
There are quite a few Donald anomalies akshuli and I’ll mention some further down.
”I asked Bernard Carpenter, TCW’s man in the States, for his opinion. It came back, beautifully (and enviably) expressed: ‘Just look at what he has achieved in three weeks. No one said it would be easy. Leftists of one stripe or another are so embedded in the American body politic, dominating its governmental and cultural institutions, that it will take wave after wave of what Joseph Schumpeter called “creative destruction”.”
Yyyeeessssss … hmmmmm. Remember all that Q biz and how the Donald had it all pegged? The White Hats etc.? Remember how he did not turn it around on Jan 6 and told everyone to go home? And many were RayEpped over to the Capitol where they were invited in through a sidedoor? Remember Michael Byrd and Ashli Babbit?
But have you also noticed that the classic pic of her always has her giving the horned satanic sign, which youngsters pretend is peace and love or some hogwash? Not unlike Tulsi’s triangle fingers. Remember the Donald not placing his hand on two bibles which Melania was prevented from getting to him with? Coinkidink? Quite possibly, possibly not. Back to Kathy.
“To repurpose a quote from one of my favourite films, Trump isn’t all we’ve got, he’s what we’ve got. Imperfect vessel though he is, I’m with him all the way. Without him, the country is lost. With him, there is hope’. More so now that Robert F. Kennedy Jr has been installed as Secretary of Health and Human Services (in defiance of Big Pharma and all those screeching Democrat swamp monsters!) Hope, in a nutshell, is exactly what I felt when Nigel Farage decided to step back into the political limelight, another figure who, ‘without him, the country is lost. With him, there is hope’.”
Ah yes … that was when Nigel stormed out of UKIP in a huff, then sold out TBP to the Tories in the hope of a Tory gong? Still … Nigel’s time came, he’s an MP and so is the man who flew to the Ukraine for a war zone photo op … Mr. Tice.
“But, what about TCW? If I knew how to run a political party, no doubt I’d be running one. I don’t know how, so I don’t propose getting into the business of telling an old pro. What we do know at TCW is how to think and what really matters which brings me straight to a podcast that one of our writers told me I must listen to. I hate podcasts, to tell you the truth – they ramble on, tend to be egoistic, and lack the discipline of the written word. However, he was right.”
Really, Kathy? He was right? We are, in the end, the sum of our sources, n’est-ce-pas? As for podcasts and vlogs … yep, I loathe them too … vehicles for ego, always long after the event.
”(Betz) thinks we are impotent against this untenable status quo, all we can do is look after our middle class selves. That is where he lost me. In less than a sentence, he dismisses Donald Trump and the possibility of his making any difference. Reform UK doesn’t even get a mention.”
Kathy’s a darling, frankly, a real woman wanting men who are men to boldly don the armour and make the land tenable … and who am I to argue? The Klown in Shining Armour is readying his trusty steed as I write, ready to charge off and slay the demons.
And this is where the conundrum of the reasonably well read Christians come in, particularly ones knowing their eschatology … Isaiah, Daniel, Revelation, and esp. Jesus of Nazareth’s words themselves in the gospels. I’ve read a few times from nonChristians … that if so-called Christians know these things … how the end of the world comes, the antiCh, the mark of the beast, CERN, the history of bad semitic tribes v the lamb of Judah, the tribe of Dan, the arising of what Israel claims is the Messiah-returned to the middle-east through the land of the Philistines, the rebuilt third temple … if learn’ed Christians know such things …
… then what’s this truck they have with inevitability? Why so willing to fully support the temporal fight for God and country? Part of the answer is Saul/Paul and writings by and about him.
But shirley Christians want to get it over and done with, no? Shirley they want Jesus to actually return?
In an ultra-humble way, in my long book (Masquerade), I created a scenario where an angel told the listeners that things could not happen until a conjunction of circumstances occurred … call it preconditions.
Did I make that up out of my head? Or did a voice suggest it was a logical scenario? Thus no one can know the date nor time, though there do seem odds it might be not too far from Jerusalem. Another voice told me ten seconds ago that in fact, He might appear all over the earth at the same time, snatching away those in rapture … well, that’s just me talking again now.
Thing is … I as a human don’t know, can’t know, should not know … mine but to record what happens and be vigilant, be ready to jump onto the steed as and when required, the soldier inside ever ready, even at this age, to do his duty. Complacency is the one thing all voices coming at me, inside and outside, are agreed upon. Keep our powder dry for now, be ready to charge in and blast away.
Yes … I’m sure you’ve noticed it by now … voices in the head? Really? Isn’t that the stuff of lunatics? Well yes, it can be but it’s also the reason to know more before we spring into action … it cuts both ways. This generation will look for a sign, no?
The Donald, good or bad … which human knows? At the same time, it’s foolish to ignore an overwhelming preponderance of signs … plus to everything, there is a time and season. DJT did not get his second term … why not? Because the conjunction of circumstances was not yet right. Abram’s wife did not conceive until late in her years … the circumstances had not come together before that.
I used to tell a tale, long ago, about it being a bit like the boy with his model yacht at the seaside. Off it goes and he follows it, watching it do this and that, the wind catches it and it is worth all the building of. But then it suddenly changes course out to sea, slap bang into a rogue wave, he taps it back on course after the wave passes … and so on.
Anyway, I need to get onto signposting DAD now, then think of some brekky or brunch. Till later.
What an idiot this guy is. They find a crime, they investigate and they build up a case. It isn’t like Starmer and his Two Tier justice that can have people in jail in minutes. The law will be investigating hundreds of people and they want to get it right so justice is served. It’ll take months and some of the cases will go on years. Good that Trump has started now. Nobody expected so much progress except for this guy of course.
I don’t read TCW much because they use Disquis and I can’t comment on there. So I may read an occasional article but I don’t count myself as one of their readers.
I like Nigel but I don’t trust him as he is too fickle and controlling. He is turning into a proper politician and that isn’t a compliment. However, I do see him and Tice being replaced at some point in the future once Nigel has ceded control of Reform to the members.
