a) The French have not forgiven the head of state for the dissolution and the political crisis it caused. They also doubt the prime minister’s ability to govern.
b) Sir Kneel Starmer’s popularity is even worse. The latest Opinium poll reveals that Starmer’s approval rating has plunged below that of the Tory leader Rishi Sunak …

1. There are a number of ways to approach this
… trying to find the right descriptive word being the thang … I’m wondering if “depravity” might not be the right choice and no, not just Washington, Hollywood, Diddy, Swift but in the Calvinist sense.
Part one
I’ve taken issue before with that word describing Man’s original sin, original, unknowing state … we’re not speaking of that innocent state here but of a “fallen” state where there is no more “unfalling”, no longer any desire to reform … intergenerationally now … it’s about a whole society, minus maybe 10% to 15%, no limits to human degradation … the word “depravity” is extreme but it also seems appropriate when it just means that the first instinct is not to be straight, not to tell the truth … but to lie.
Another way to approach this is “immoral” versus “amoral”, the latter being the absence of good ethics, the presence of taqqiya in dealings with others. I’ve something here, following on from Wings of Pegasus yesterday … and it spotlights the use of The Lie as standard practice, with not the least conscience about it.
A child does that until learning an ethical code from parents and at school … it takes a while to come around to. My mate up the road is not Christian and yet he certainly has that code in dealings … demanding consistency in the punishment fitting the crime, irrespective of who it is … mandatory and sane penalties, to which a miscreant caught just says, “It’s a fair cop.”
In this item below, someone was lying … no two ways about it … but who?
There are complications … the man in the thumbnail outright calling the whistleblower “liar” … is he part of the coverup of everyone involved or has he had the wool pulled over the eyes? Is he so loyal to the band, the operation, that he fully believes it acted honestly if it said so? Because Fil the musician shows, clearly … or does he … that at least someone lied, most likely the producer or engineer.
The worst aspect is that, with such a minor band and singer, such a minor issue compared to Obama, Harris, McCain, Diddy etc. etc. … at least one vocal loyalist, fanatic, defender, projects his own basic dishonesty onto the whistleblower … if you can spare the time, watch that one right through.
Part two
This is one we’ve been on about here for years … and I do mean “we”, variously … this time almost out of the blue from Toodles and please don’t think for one moment, don’t try it on, that we are any better over here in Britain and Europe … think WEF … this “hidden in plain sight “depravity”, the word used in a formalised way … it’s global and has been hidden in plain sight for centuries … people simply can’t see it, being inured, being in that naively “depraved” state themselves, low level, interpreting wrongly … when in fact the intended meaning is clear to those who’ve woken up … plus they were looking for it.
An example is the Statue of Ish*** sitting right there in NY harbour, which so many almost worship as Liberty … the satanic joke is that that female is not about liberty in the least … yes, it’s about the word Liberty, but it’s actually about subjugation, slavery, depravity as institutional.
And that is only “far fetched” to those who cannot see, who have not deep-dived, have not explored and found out … and are not remotely interested in doing so.
Thus to Toodles’s text she sent:
I am telling you…I do not think it ( election) looks good. I have spoken to people and they think DJT is crazy and deranged.
Why do you think that, I ask? No reply.
Then I ask why are you voting for the other one (KaKa)? No reply.
To one of her supporters last night, I asked just what she has done that has been beneficial to our country? Answer was, “She was only VP.”
Well now I find it strange as she has stated, and I have heard her say it, that she has had a hand in many things. She was last one in the room and blah blah. She says We, meaning she and JB, did this and that and so I stated some of her so called accomplishments.
So I ask on which issues can she take credit and which issues is she given reprieve? Can you even guesstimate them?
I am telling you it is scary. Way more people down here than one could ever imagine. Must trust in the lord. No other way.
Toodles continues:
Some things I have noted about cities. I am sure there are more things but I am not well traveled and taking note and connecting, really connecting, has been something I have been doing or able to do more recently …last 10 years perhaps…maybe longer…but now only getting things. Years of head scratching about it before.
There is THIS creepy thing … Most likely in honor of a man who was murdered because of certain lifestyle. I have not read whole wiki yet. It is really creepy and larger than that pic appears in front of several churches.New York City….where do I begin? One thing is the mosaics on the street side to Rockerfeller Center in Manhattan. They look as though they are studied figures from the Commie playbook.I know there are others but all I can think of now…Boston…did I mention?…oh boy it is riff with symbolism pointing to bad things.Thing is we become numb to them because they are warts seen every day by us or even an example of civic or national pride that distinguishes one place from another.Boise…lots of Mormon temples!Getting tired so here is this…connected to all sorts of stuff…so sad about our world.
Examples…
Memphis…big into Masons and no bones about it. Location on a river and even a well known store chain G. Bush made a point to visit while making photo ops at some point during his tenure on the Hot Seat.
Anyway the one in Memphis is made like a pyramid. So who knows. Just pointing out observations.
Dallas and surrounding things … certainly there were things but it has been a while and not healthy on that visit. Still the parallel on which it lies.
San Francisco…streets named Mason or Masonic Way. Lots and lots of indicators of odd things. Where do I start.
Disney World….lots of stuff but in a fun way but gruesome in a way.
Miami….other parts of FL … been up and down and zig zagged too. Certainly things but atm memory bank is holding it.
Atlanta….massive things and indicators. Where to begin?
Mobile…use to have a huge stucco Scottish Rite building in the shape of a pyramid with sphinxes in front. It was a landmark for years. They are heavily ingrained into Mardi Gras societies. Catholic Cathedral downtown. Jesuit college there.
New Orleans same but far more so!
Bham…lots of indicators and will name them sometime. Cuddles says I take the fun out of his childhood memories pointing these things out…such as Vulcan, the largest cast iron statue in the world.
Of course, we could add Denver Airport, the art, underground, the prancing horse … we could look at Omaha airforce base and rendition, trafficking allegations … it never ends.

13. Went to town on this
The long and the short is firstly, overall numbers, secondly how they’re distributed under FPTP and thirdly … the carefully worked out gerrymander to prevent populists getting anywhere except “commendably”.
In the light of this communist govt, it’s way past time, so Jenkyns goes to the Reform conference, Whatsit the Tory front runner makes populist noises, plus they provoke Nigel to disown Tommy. If that failed to happen, then both wings would be voting Reform.
Sticks in my gullet but the patrician Tice and Farage pushed out pleb Habib and would never speak to TR. on the other hand, Tommy’s never going to form a govt … only Farage is capable, so Tommy needs to just do his rallies and not mention Reform … the Uniparty MSM are skewering this open.

As most know, there is pretty much no one in the ‘driver’s seat’ of the executive branch at the moment. The entire US government is being run managerially by deep state operatives, members of the cabinet, etc.
11. You Tube are such a mixed bag
… and the CEO who changed it all is dead. However, let’s proceed. First is a YT by the chap calling himself Wings of Pegasus, supposedly metal/hard rock but basically guitar, not my fave instrument, except for the bass. He’s a genuine guy though, methinks most would say that, and he analyses pitch and other graphs to show why this or that artist is so good, but this other one is not … he detests autotune.
Right, it was always going to happen but when he started comparative analyses, some fairly certain frauds arose … he has the graphs to show it. Mainly, if it was that someone had mimed his/her own material, then the jury’s out in my book. Sometimes, there’s a concert and it’s long and he has maybe lost a bit in the voice … wwweeelllll, we can argue that one over.
At the same time, there are clear areas where it’s downright fraud. I recall Betty Boo being booed offstage … was it in Hobart? Why? She’d lip-synched and the crowd had come for live. 1990 or around there. Now we have all sorts, inc. autotune. I’m glad Dire Straits I think it was, did at least some synch on Sultans … maybe, perhaps. Not a huge fan here of live.
All that’s by the by … Fil here is talking straight out fraud … stealing audio tracks and pretending it’s him or her … no need to sit right through this … you’ll get the idea:
This next one … very mixed feelings … for a start with that hair and at you voice, telling everyone upfront that she’s an experienced lawyer. Then she started to make sense but also said strange things about covers:
Hmmmmm, here tis (again no need to watch all):
Overall, I’ve had a good run from YT but I’ve also seen what others are saying.

8. Kathy was right …
… SALLY BECK writes a neat article. But first this:
Onto Sally (link behind her name above):
AFTER 14 years as MP for North West Leicestershire, former Conservative Andrew Bridgen lost his seat in spectacular fashion at the general election in July with an implausible 95 per cent decrease in votes. This made no sense as he enjoyed more than 95 per cent recognition on the doorstep, an endorsement from US politician Robert F Kennedy Jr, and a positive response from his constituents, many of whom had received justice because of his interventions.
A popular MP, fighting David-and-Goliath causes considered taboo by the government but essential by the electorate, he had become a thorn in the Conservative government’s side, and he was expelled in April 2023. Facing ferocious opposition from his own party, he exposed the Horizon Post Office scandal, fought for recognition for the covid vaccine injured and bereaved, and highlighted the iniquity for those facing compulsory house purchases to make way for the HS2 rail link. He was forced to sell his family home to HS2 and personally lost £500,000.
Yes I know about his iffy antecedents … I also know about his journey … we can all improve over time, wake up, become better. This man deserves better and people like Sally Beck and TCW are crucial in Britain to keep the pressure on to see right done.

6. The Slog
Look, I don’t quote John Ward all that much but I do subscribe and THIS was today:
AI and its false satanic promise of trans-human progress is, for me, the most obscenely dystopian feature of the coming New Dark Age.
Those are not the words of a Luddite: they’re the observations of a half-sensible empiricist based on two simple realities: first, you can develop AI until the cows come home, but you will never give it the divinity of a human right cortex; and second, simply asking a human techie, “Where’s the fucking start button?” will get a one hundred per cent effective answer in four seconds.
As opposed to the tedium of “I’m sorry I didn’t quite understand that, please make the sentence more clear for me” or “I didn’t quite catch that, can you speak more clearly and repeat the question please” followed by “I’ll put you through to one of our agents, please hold” ….that delivers a non-solution using up half an hour of the day.

4. Article on Gab about 34 Brits leaving for Russia
They’re either going to be fleeced if they stay in Moscow or outskirts, they’re monitored, the bureaucracy is worse, the locals are going to view Brits as we view “the visitors”. Not the hosts … the hosts are super friendly. Just something to think about after Boris:
Anyway, here’s one of those unrestrained Gab takes:
This is ‘news’ (the 34) because these Brits are going to Russia. However it’s a drop in the ocean as hundreds of thousands of (Brit) Britons leave the UK each year and move to Spain, France, Italy and the Far East.
The real scandal behind immigration statistics is when we are told net migration stands at over 700K … that’s because around 1.5 million migrants come to Britain (around 90 per cent of which are non-European) and the 800K leaving are not migrants returning home, but White Britons fleeing.
This means that not only is the population of the UK growing rapidly each year, but replacement is accelerating, as elderly whites aren’t just dying off, but those who can afford to are actively choosing to abandon their country.
You may well ask, as Andy should, I should … whence those stats above … source was a former EDL. Now, back to Boris (looking wonderfully Adonis like in his casual clobber) … in the Alex Ch piece today, he quotes Johnson on the Ukraine: “Get it done, get it won.”
Yes, charmingly glib, Mr. Bollinger Club … and another hundred thousand Ukies and some Brits, go to their inevitable slaughter. Because those bstds in control of us know very well that no one is going to take over Russia, even with those trillions of Euros … this is the Napoleonic, Crimean War and Gitler insanity all over again.
And when does Boris propose this is done? In the Russian winter … the bstd knows exactly what he’s suggesting.
Sauce for the Boris bit HERE.
3. Andy at 818:1
JH: The filter through which I viewed it was firstly … it’s Reddit, soft left, as with travel and tech journals, Quora etc. … check the date (11 years ago) … plus no source of stats.
Why do I still get Quora? Because I haven’t “ungot it” yet, and occasionally the soft topics get the mind off the horrors we do know of … otherwise we hurry ourselves to an early grave. Those journals are deliberately soft, avoiding harsh reality, in a jaunty tone. But as our lot are not particularly fun these days … wwweeelllll, what can I say? Who am I to criticise? Plus Andy is highly valued at this site.
2. DAD drop in the early morn at 818:2
a) Isl*m*c m*grants have made videos explaining how they are bilking the French government, manipulating welfare systems designed to help the needy, and using taxpayer money to fund their stay.
JH: They’re my euphemistic asterisks in there. As the one who’ll get the door kicked down by six special policemen and the token two policewomen of diminutive size, the one who’ll get shut down online … think we need to be using more veiled terms here on in.
b) London-based NatWest Bank launched the “carbon footprint tracker” to supposedly tackle the alleged “climate crisis.” The British multinational bank’s system monitors customers’ spending and scolds customers when they buy meat and dairy products.
JH: That’s in line with that “middlng society”, accepting or resigned to such bullying, with a shrug, smile and, “What are we supposed to be doing now?” … never once thinking it through and deciding not to comply. How not to comply here? Move funds slowly elsewhere. Where? Whole other topic.
c) The Church of England has raised eyebrows by advertising a “Head of Racial Justice Priority” position in the Diocese of London, boasting a salary of £66,646 – more than double the £31,644 stipend for parish priests….
JH again: Yes, there’s that DEI thrust in the criticism but is there not also a £31K crit, given what zero hours people, shopworkers etc. are earning? And given the “anything at all CofE bad, anything Catholic or atheist we shall see”? I go no further but look at my own CofE criticisms of late … easy enough to do with the newly Woke non-church.
1. Going back to “new habits”
Before explaining the main theme of this post item, a word first about critically appraising anyone you read or listen to, preferably before you read or listen to them … not forgetting our “be aware” page here.
This below is from one Cynthia, it’s on Quora … I notice Andy has something from Reddit … both are of the “soft left”, insinuating type … never overtly political but never touching on cutting edge issues all the same, keeping it all nicely nice … concerning celebs, many interesting things such as who was the nicest sportsperson you met … keeping it all away from that nasty far-rightness.
This lady was “former management, employment and training, grants management” … so female “manager” and all it implies, as internally as hard as nails, as hard as hard, experienced “professional” men, quite sure of her abilities thank you very much.
So, in the context of that … this:
I’m 87 and surprised myself recently. After several days of staying in, watching tv, and going to bed earlier than usual, I decided to do some errands. Walking out my door and up the path toward the parking lot, I realized that I wasn’t slow, I was walking at a fast pace, the way I used to walk.
Got to the big box store and forgot to get a cart to lean on. Made it through an hour of traversing through the store without tiring. Then went for a few groceries and home. Felt more energetic than I had for a long time!
My burst of energy lasted several days, then I slowed down again.
Disappointed, I decided to analyze what I had done in the days before my spurt of energy. First I recalled that I had decided not to stay up until 3 or 4 am watching tv. Was in bed by 11 pm. Then I had decided to improve my diet by eating more vegetables in a full meal at dinner time instead of just breakfast and a snack for dinner.
And I wasn’t getting much exercise in the house so I went for a quarter mile walk twice that week just for exercise. I also remembered that my breathing pattern had changed. A breath seemed to go deeper into my lungs. I’m assuming that with just 4 hours of sleep a night, I was not getting enough rest. And breakfast with a snack for dinner did not provide enough nutrition for any activities.
And lastly, lack of exercise was a contributing factor to my shortness of breath. I really would like to feel that good again. So I’m just now starting to repeat what appears to have been the process that led to my energy boost. Crossing my fingers!
Hence going back to “new habits” she’d learnt late, possibly in fear of diabetes, whatever. I too have noticed a slight falling back in habits and have restarted “new habits” and am trying to resist the lure of the buttery shortbread full of sugar.
And so it goes … a mini-journey begfore even starting the day of chores, which includes handwashing of clithes and going into town this morning.
