They don’t differentiate, you never hear them say it was actually around a tenth of one per cent of the population who had any involvement in the slave trade. That wouldn’t work for them as you could almost name each one from the records available. No, they want an entire race to take the blame.
The oppressor/oppressed paradigm is central to the Marxist theory of power dynamics within societies – they can’t explain life without it. Whites oppress Blacks, period. Even so the Left went a step further to include all non-Whites, thus Whites are to blame for all the oppression that’s ever occurred anywhere. If believe that then you also believe that most of human history is a fiction. Good luck with finding that elusive Year Zero.
