Mandleson has been arrested on suspicion of supplying intelligent to Epstein. Exactly the same as Andrew. This has nothing to do with sex charges. Maybe that will come next but it looks like they are protecting everyone at a high level and Mandy and Andy will know every high level player. Just as well hanging as a punishment for treason was abolished by Bleurgh in 1998.
Shirley, any offence would not include treason as Britain was not, officially, at war with anyone, during the Epstein/AMW/Mandleson period, and so no aid or succour was given to an enemy. Possibly, a charge, or charges, could be raised with an accusation of giving classified financial or political information to a foreign power, though I doubt that this would be classed as treason. Willing to be corrected.
Depends what they were up to. Selling secrets to another country could be considered treason but there’s criteria which has to be met. We don’t know what these chumps were doing in any detail in that respect.
