1. I liked the Blackpool trams when I was a lad. And – do I remember correctly? – the trams in Douglas on the Isle of Man. Since then I have enjoyed trams in SF (well, “cable cars”), in Adelaide and in Melbun. We saw swishy trams in Montpellier but I don’t think we travelled on them.

   Where else? What have I forgotten?

   JH: SF for me, plus Melbourne, plus whenever I could in Russia … they were grand and had the best trad routes, esp. down leafy tunnels and beside the shoreline. There was one near my work which took me almost home … plus it had right of way over all other traffic. Loved em.
