I do need to warn … this morning I was shadowbanned, shan’t say where, concerning a certain person Adnof in Manteiv in the 60s. Whether we like it or not, the thought police are targetting, pre Xmas and sadly, our own writers are under that umbrella. Thus DAD was “not approved” by “the system” and so we’re back to euphemising again. Sorry but needs must for now.
Why warn our chaps here and not over at 1139? So as not to draw attention to it there. In this reporting thing we do, the thoughtbots and algorithms pick up on key words and phrases, as did Redford in Three Days of the Condor … so the solution for us is clear enough. For now.
2. DAD at 1239

1. Pub banter
In today’s TDS newsletter:
“Under Labour’s controversial Employment Rights Bill, which became law last week, employers will have a legal duty to prevent harassment by third parties relating to a ‘protected characteristic’ such as race, religion, sexual orientation or age.
Ministers have been warned that this will result in pub landlords, as well as restaurant owners and hoteliers, being turned into the ‘banter cops’, where they are forced to police what their customers say.
Worth reading in full.”
