France. The prospect of censure is receding, but political tensions are far from over. Members of Parliament are preparing to plunge into debates that promise to be epic.
After his baptism of fire in questions to the government in the National Assembly on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Prime Minister went to the Senate to deliver a statement on his general policy.

JH: Indeed, AKH.
Keep in mind that these huge windfarms when dismantled will create huge areas of non agricultural land ripe for development. They are a potential planning scam as much as an energy nonsense.
……
JH: Too true. These are nutters, crims or both.
@woodsy42,
Don’t forget that before any development can start, there would have to be a way of disposing of the fibreglass blades and bodies, the metal innards, and concrete bases, none of which are recycleable. Plus the ground may be poisoned from the oil and chemicals used in the operation of the bird mincers, possibly leading to health hazards for people living there. I recall the problems of developers in Hartlepool obtaining permission to build on the land of a demolished steelworks, due to chemicals having deeper into the ground. Even today, most of the area is covered in grass.
Still, I doubt that Minibrain will worry, as he will claim it’ll no longer be his problem. He really is a nasty man.
