13. Unfortunately, unable to read it on my Kindle, so don’t know if this is relevant. During a routine medical check, my GP tried to.persuade me to have a “winter covid booster”. When I politely declined, I was asked why. My response that, for over 30 years, I was fit and healthy, regularly running half marathons, and rarely catching even a cold. Then, in order to travel abroad, and foolishly trusting the ‘the science’, I had 2 Astra Zenica jabs and a Pfizer booster. Within 18 months, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer; had an operation for an abdominal aeortic aneurysm; paralysed for 3 weeks with Guillen Barre Syndrome; and told I have Paget’s disease of the pelvis. Her reply was that I couldn’t blame the covid vaccinations for that. My response was that, in the Army, I learned that once was unfortunate, twice was coincidence, while three or more was enemy action. We still parted on good terms (I have a brilliant GP).
